My Swedish colleague Jerker made me aware that the redevelopment of Malmo's Western Harbour is going to be certified using BREEAM Communities. Apparently this is the first development in the Nordics to do. It is interesting to see how the UK's BRE Environmental Assessment Method is being adapted and adopted for use in other countries.
