After several weeks of having my head buried in the BREEAM technical manuals, self study course and various sustainable design reference books, I attended the UK Building Research Establishment yesterday for the final workshop and examination needed to become a BREEAM Accredited Professional. Today I heard that I passed, phew.
With BREEAM becoming more and more prevalent across Europe (not just the UK) I see this as being really beneficial in better understanding the needs of our customers and I'll be looking to see how we can leverage this knowledge with our sustainable design tools.
