Previewed at this year's Autodesk University, Project Dasher provides a glimpse into the exciting direction Building Information Modelling might go for the operational management of buildings.
We all know that even if you design a very efficient, sustainable building, the behaviour of the occupants and performance of equipment once the building is commissioned will have a massive impact on sustainability throughout the building's lifecycle.
Project Dasher, an Autodesk Research project, combines the information model with real sensor data to provide owners with much greater insight into building performance.
